Initial Practical Exams

For candidates testing for the first time or needing to repeat the entire exam.  Candidates that have failed 4, 5, or 6 stations or results have expired (greater than one year) need to complete this exam.

Repeat Stations

For candidates that need to repeat 2 or 3 stations.  Candidates that have failed 4, 5, or 6 stations and those whose results are older than one year need to complete the initial examination.  Candidates that have failed a single station should meet with their instructor to complete a review and retaining session – they do not need to repeat the station at an exam.

Victims & Observers

Exam victim opportunities are available to EMT students preparing to take the practical exam.  Victims are rotated through 2-3 stations during an actual exam.
