The American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR AED course teaches how to recognize and treat cardiac arrest and choking in Adults, Children, and Infants. Participants learn how to provide CPR and how to use an Automated External Defibrillator.

This course is specifically designed for those who have a duty to respond to an emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements. It is also appropriate for members of the community who want to be prepared in the event of a cardiac emergency or serious life threatening emergency.
This course takes approximately 2 hours to complete.
This course is intended for individuals who have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements such as nursing assistants, coaches, personal trainers, and industrial safety teams. This course is also appropriate for members of the community who want to be prepared in the event of a cardiac arrest or serious life threatening injury.
There are no prerequisites for this course.
A pocket mask, American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR AED Student Workbook, and two year certification are included in this course.
$90 – Includes pocket mask, student workbook, and two year American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR AED certification upon successful completion.

A skills examination is conducted as part of this course. Students that do not successfully complete the skills test are remediated and allowed an additional attempt to test.
Successful completion of this course results in an American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR AED certification which is valid for 2 years from the date of the course.
