What is the Instructor-Led Heartsaver Course?
This course meets online with a live virtually connected American Heart Association instructor where learners watch videos, discuss scenarios, and practice skills. Upon completion of the online portion, learners schedule an appointment at a Code One Training Center to complete a skills practice and assessment. An American Heart Association Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED eCard is issued upon successful completion.
This course includes the Heartsaver student workbook, certification testing, first aid materials, and American Heart Association Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED eCard.
This course meets Connecticut Office of Early Childhood requirements for licensed daycare centers and home daycare providers.
Intended Audience
The American Heart Association Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid / CPR / AED course trains lay rescuers to respond to medical emergencies and provide initial treatment to injured children. This course meets Connecticut Office of Early Childhood requirements.
