Does Nevada follow the NREMT’S NCCP Model?

No, Nevada does not follow the NREMT NCCP Model. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Should I renew my NREMT even though Nevada does not require it?

Many EMS providers may choose to renew their NREMT even though their state may not require it for several reasons. One of the most common reasons would be if an EMS provider was planning on moving out of state and looking to seek EMT certification in a different state.

Where can I go for a list of approved CE providers?

A list of internet sites approved for CEUs can be found here. For a list of State approved CE providers, follow up with your agency for guidance.

Does Code One provide any Continuing Education (CE)?

Code One has partnered with PRO EMS Center for Medics to deliver Prodigy – a world class virtual training platform for all levels of EMS providers. Prodigy classes are designed to educate and engage, not simply to check the box. Instead of using a stale PowerPoint presentation, we engage our users by implementing a multi-camera format that focuses on the presenter, who is always an experienced EMS educator. In addition, we supplement this with materials designed to enhance learning.

Our EMS continuing education courses are approved for NREMT Recertification through Commission on Accreditation for Prehospital Continuing Education (CAPCE) for use in NREMT Recertification and for State Recertification:  Approved by Most States for EMT Recertification. More information regarding our CE courses can be found here
