Does Nevada follow the NREMT’S NCCP Model?
No, Nevada does not follow the NREMT NCCP Model. Nevada requires EMS providers to follow specific state criteria which can be found here for EMR, EMT, AEMT and Paramedics. Should I renew my NREMT even though Nevada does not require it?
Many EMS providers may choose to renew their NREMT even though their state may not require it for several reasons. One of the most common reasons would be if an EMS provider was planning on moving out of state and looking to seek EMT certification in a different state.
