Excellent location for ACLS and PALS. Wonderful video link and mannequins that are electronically set up. I used the Scranton parking app for convenience. Certificates issue upon completing the process.
Done both ACLS/PALS renewals with code One. Ver convenient. Do the online work on your own time and self scheduled the skills session, lots of options of times and locations
Have used CodeOne twice for both ACLS and BLS. They provide good details to walk you through the online process and then the skills portion of the training. The cost is reasonable and you have flexibility in completing the online portion and scheduling your skills session.
Code one Training is a great place to practice your ACLS & PALS skills. The mannequins, technology, & feedback system on the computer are super helpful. I will definitely go back in the future to renew my certifications
Very streamlined process. Was able to do my ACLS skills session in under 25 minutes.
I always train for bls/acls with Code one! You will get the full material and skills training in the price. The online portion is self paced, scheduling the skills portion is so easy and convenient.
My go-to anytime I need ACLS or BLS classes! Super easy and convenient. If there’s any issues, very easy to contact someone for help.
I’ve used Code One for almost 10 years now to stay up to date on my BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Each cycle they offer more and more user friendly and comprehensive education materials and processes. I will keep using them for years to come! -Ryan (Emergency Medicine PA)
I highly endorse Code One Training Solutions for anyone in need of BLS, ACLS, or PALS credentials. Their program is exceptionally well-organized, with a perfect blend of convenience and hands-on learning. The facility is spotless and equipped with top-notch training materials, ensuring a professional and engaging experience. If you’re looking for a reliable and professional place for resuscitation training, Code One Training Solutions is the clear choice. I couldn’t recommend them more!
Online portion was easy and thorough as it relates to pals and ACLS and bls and was very user friendly regarding use of computer and equipment with realtime feedback.
The level or organization and strategy used by this facility is optimum! I had a great experience with this ACLS course, and the learning environment was optimum. I highly recommend this company for your certifications needs.
I had a wonderful experience with Code One! I completed the ACLS and PALS online portion with AHA and scheduled my appointment for skills with Code One. Cory was a pleasure to work with and provided great feedback. Overall, great experience and I will be sure to contact them when I need to renew.
4th cycle re-certifying with this group. Keeps everything straight-forward and allows bundle recertification skills for BLS, ACLS, and PALS with up-to-date equipment. Highly recommend!
Sean (on video) and Jon (in room) were beyond helpful, personable, and professional!! They immediately helped me to be at ease. I would give them twenty stars if I could!! I am so grateful for Jon, Sean, and the entire Code One team who assisted me in the process to obtain my BLS and ACLS recertification!
Very good in depth review of ACLS/PALS skills and the physiology behind things, not just reciting memorized doses and algorithms.
Dr. Santina Arancio Arno proctored my ACLS class and she was amazing! She went beyond the basics and explained the nuances and finer points of several different code scenarios.
Renewing my BLS/ACLS/PALS with CodeOne was so helpful and convenient! I worked with Sam R. and she was incredibly knowledgeable. I would absolutely recommend this process to anyone in need of certification/renewal.
The online portion of my ACLS was easy to use and will help with any problem areas. The skills portion was the best part as the process was cake. Ken made it fun and relatable to my position specifically.
I was worried that the skills session being virtual would mean I would not be able to get very much out of it. However, I was able to discuss the cases as well as my questions in depth with the physician leading my ACLS training. I had a really positive experience and everything was very straightforward. It was a very supportive and relaxed learning environment (no one expected me to be perfect).
I worked with Santina (ACLS/PALS Scenarios) and Amanda (skills check). Check-in was easy and well-coordinated. The staff were personable and made it a point to ask about my specific practice environment. Rather than merely teaching to the test, they did an excellent job of tailoring their instruction and feedback to contextualize the content so that I was able to apply it directly to my personal practice. The best ACLS/PALS experience I have had--I look forward to recertifying with them in two years!
Santina was great and very informative and I feel like I am better prepared in my ACLS.
I really appreciate the flexibility of the skills and online portions of the course, it was super simple to navigate. I hope they continue to offer this format for acls certifications.
Sabrina was awesome! Love this spot and I feel more confident in my ACLS skills after the training session
Great class for BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Phenomenal instruction and also very convenient. Thank you!
Thanks for an easy and convenient way to renew ACLS with blended learning. The on line exam and live skills check off was a great solution when needing certification on short notice.

FAQ

What is ACLS Provider Training?

ACLS Provider is an ACLS class for healthcare providers by the American Heart Association®, designed to help healthcare providers learn or refresh their advanced cardiac life support skills

Code One Offers ACLS training through a Self Guided Learning™ program, where learners complete online coursework through the HeartCode® online learning module, and then come to a nearby center for an individual hands-on skills assessment appointment. Appointments are offered Monday through Saturday between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM across 100+ locations, so you can come when it’s convenient for you.

Is this ACLS Provider Training approved by the American Heart Association?

Yes. ACLS Provider training is an approved American Heart Association® program that results in a two-year AHA ACLS Provider eCard.

I need to take an ACLS certification course. Am I in the right place?

Yes. After successfully completing ACLS training with any American Heart Association provider, learners will receive either a physical “course completion card” or an emailed “eCard”. These two cards have been colloquially referred to as “ACLS certification” or “American Heart Association certification”. While the American Heart Association does not use the term certification, you can be confident that the AHA eCard you earn at Code One fulfills your CPR training requirement.

When are ACLS Provider skills appointments offered?

Most Code One Training Centers accept appointments Monday through Saturday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, though the exact hours of operation may vary by location. Code One has over 100 locations, which offer ACLS Provider course skills sessions by appointment.

See our list of locations here.

Do I need to complete the HeartCode® online ACLS training course before scheduling an ACLS Provider Skills Session?

Yes. We require that the HeartCode® online ACLS training course be completed before you schedule the ACLS hands-on skills session to ensure that you have the coursework done and are ready for your appointment.

What’s the difference between ACLS Provider Training and ACLS Provider Skills Only?

ACLS Provider Training includes the required HeartCode® online ACLS training course, plus a hands-on skills verification appointment at Code One. This is the course that most learners require.

ACLS Provider Skills Only is just the ACLS skills check-off portion of the ACLS Provider course, and is restricted to learners who have already completed the American Heart Association HeartCode® online ACLS training course and have their certificate dated in the past year.

Both the HeartCode® online ACLS course and the hands-on skills session are required to earn your eCard, even if you are looking to renew your ACLS Provider eCard.

How long will it take to complete ACLS Provider Training?

The ACLS Provider Training Complete Package includes theory (HeartCode® online ACLS training course) and skills verification (ACLS Provider Skills).

The HeartCode® online ACLS training course takes about 2-6 hours to complete, depending on your previous knowledge, competency, and confidence. Since HeartCode® is an adaptive learning platform, it will adapt to your learning needs: If you find yourself benefiting from a more robust learning process, the platform will shift to incorporate more videos, examples, and practice opportunities to help you understand. If you’re an experienced healthcare provider, the platform will adjust to focus on knowledge verification.

The hands-on ACLS skills check-off session takes about an hour. Experienced rescuers may complete the skills more quickly.

All together, the AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider course runs between 3-7 hours, depending on your proficiency and experience levels.

What is the HeartCode® online ACLS Training Course?

The HeartCode® online ACLS training course is the American Heart Association’s theory portion of the ACLS course for healthcare providers. The HeartCode® course can be completed at home and on your own time. The course is adaptive and will adjust content based on the prior knowledge of the learner. Topics covered include:

  • Acute coronary syndrome
  • Stroke
  • Adult cardiac arrest management

In order to meet ACLS Provider eCard requirements, learners are required to complete both the Heartcode online ACLS and the hands-on skills session.

What does an ACLS Provider Self-Guided Skills session look like?

During your ACLS skills check-off session, you will independently perform skills on a CPR Verification Station learning center which provides real-time feedback to help you master compressions and ventilations for both adults and infants. Our team will remotely supervise and will be available to assist if needed, but you will have your session without ongoing assistance from an instructor.

Your ACLS skills check-off session includes 6 skills:

  • Adult compressions
  • Adult ventilations
  • Two-rescuer adult CPR
  • Infant compressions
  • Infant ventilations
  • Two-rescuer infant CPR

Can I complete my BLS, ACLS, and PALS training at the same skills session?

Yes. Code One’s Healthcare Provider Bundle Package allows you to complete the online portion of the HeartCode online BLS, ACLS, and PALS courses, and then come in for a single skills appointment to cover skills for all three programs.
