Excellent location for ACLS and PALS. Wonderful video link and mannequins that are electronically set up. I used the Scranton parking app for convenience. Certificates issue upon completing the process.
Done both ACLS/PALS renewals with code One. Ver convenient. Do the online work on your own time and self scheduled the skills session, lots of options of times and locations
Code one Training is a great place to practice your ACLS & PALS skills. The mannequins, technology, & feedback system on the computer are super helpful. I will definitely go back in the future to renew my certifications
I’ve used Code One for almost 10 years now to stay up to date on my BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Each cycle they offer more and more user friendly and comprehensive education materials and processes. I will keep using them for years to come! -Ryan (Emergency Medicine PA)
I highly endorse Code One Training Solutions for anyone in need of BLS, ACLS, or PALS credentials. Their program is exceptionally well-organized, with a perfect blend of convenience and hands-on learning. The facility is spotless and equipped with top-notch training materials, ensuring a professional and engaging experience.

If you’re looking for a reliable and professional place for resuscitation training, Code One Training Solutions is the clear choice. I couldn’t recommend them more!
Online portion was easy and thorough as it relates to pals and ACLS and bls and was very user friendly regarding use of computer and equipment with realtime feedback.
I had a wonderful experience with Code One! I completed the ACLS and PALS online portion with AHA and scheduled my appointment for skills with Code One. Cory was a pleasure to work with and provided great feedback. Overall, great experience and I will be sure to contact them when I need to renew.
4th cycle re-certifying with this group. Keeps everything straight-forward and allows bundle recertification skills for BLS, ACLS, and PALS with up-to-date equipment. Highly recommend!
Very good in depth review of ACLS/PALS skills and the physiology behind things, not just reciting memorized doses and algorithms.
Renewing my BLS/ACLS/PALS with CodeOne was so helpful and convenient! I worked with Sam R. and she was incredibly knowledgeable. I would absolutely recommend this process to anyone in need of certification/renewal.
Excellent PALS class with John. Highly recommend this course and it is catered to your medical professional with real life scenarios.
Super easy to book online; complete the learning modules from home and then go in person for a skills session for an hour or less. Santina was a great resource and educator for my PALS session.
I worked with Santina (ACLS/PALS Scenarios) and Amanda (skills check). Check-in was easy and well-coordinated. The staff were personable and made it a point to ask about my specific practice environment. Rather than merely teaching to the test, they did an excellent job of tailoring their instruction and feedback to contextualize the content so that I was able to apply it directly to my personal practice. The best ACLS/PALS experience I have had--I look forward to recertifying with them in two years!
Great class for BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Phenomenal instruction and also very convenient. Thank you!
Santina was awesome the entire way through the course. I wish I could renew my PALS with her every time!
It was a great working with Code One for my PALS certification. It was a pleasure working with Dr. Arancio Arno. The whole process was smooth.
I had a really great experience with Code One and Dr. Santina Arancio Arno. She was very knowledgeable and didn't just tell me what to do, but really explained why we do the interventions for ACLS/BLS/PALS.
Getting my PALS here was easy! With their proctors being remote, I was able to schedule an appointment here when everywhere else was booked out for weeks. My proctor Santina and the customer service team were all awesome and guided me through the process really well. I’ll definitely be getting my renewal with Code One.
Awesome! Seamless renewal of ACLS, pals and bls. Santina was great. Very patient with me and gave good reviews of algorithms. Will definitely recommend code one to my fellow nurses.
Very knowledgeable and kind. Would highly recommend for anyone needing to certify for PALS in the future
This was an awesome PALS course! Santina took the time to make the expectations, skills and rationale extremely clear. I LOVED using the mannequins with computer feedback! Usually mannequins are these stiff human shaped plastic things that another person watches you and decides if things were done correctly based on what they saw, but with computer feedback you really get to FEEL how deep your compressions are, you the squeeze of the bag, it’s just amazing having direct and instant feedback! Absolutely loved it! Very happy to have completed this PALS course!

FAQ

What is PALS Provider Training?

PALS Provider is an American Heart Association® hybrid training designed for healthcare professionals who desire to learn or refresh their pediatric advanced life support skills. Learners complete a portion of the course through an online Self Guided Learning™ module and then come to our center for an individual skills appointment. Appointments are offered Monday through Saturday between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM so it’s easy to find a convenient time to come in.

Is PALS Provider Training approved by the American Heart Association (AHA)?

Yes. PALS Provider Training is an approved American Heart Association program that results in a two year American Heart Association PALS Provider eCard.

When are PALS Provider skills appointments offered?

Code One has over 100 locations which offer PALS Provider skills sessions by appointment. While the exact hours of operation vary by location, most Code One Training Centers accept appointments Monday through Saturday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. See our list of locations here.

Do I need to complete the HeartCode® online PALS course before scheduling a PALS Provider skills Session?

Yes. We require that the HeartCode® online PALS course be completed before you schedule the PALS Provider skills session to ensure that you have the coursework done and are ready for your appointment.

What’s the difference between PALS Provider Training and PALS Provider Skills Only?

PALS Provider Training includes the required HeartCode® online PALS course plus a Hands-On Skills Verification appointment at Code One. This is the course that most learners require.

PALS Provider Skills Only is RESTRICTED to learners who have already completed the American Heart Association HeartCode online PALS course and have their certificate dated in the past year.

BOTH the HeartCode online PALS course and the skills session are needed to satisfy certification even if you are renewing your certificate.

How long will it take to complete the PALS Provider Training?

BLS Provider Training includes theory (HeartCode® online PALS course) and skills verification (PALS Provider Skills).

Here’s the approximate time it takes to complete each one:

  • The HeartCode online PALS course is an adaptive learning platform which will adapt to your learning needs. If you find yourself benefiting from a more robust learning process the platform will shift to incorporate more videos, examples, and practice opportunities to amplify your competency. On the other hand if you are an experienced healthcare provider, the platform will adjust to focus on knowledge verification. Depending on where you are on the spectrum of competency and confidence, Heartcode PALS can be completed in approximately 2-6 hours.
  • On average, the time to complete the hands-on skills session is about one hour.  Experienced rescuers may complete the skills in less time.

What is the HeartCode® online PALS Course?

HeartCode online PALS is the American Heart Association’s theory portion of its PALS Provider Training (CPR and AED for healthcare providers). The HeartCode online PALS course can be completed at home and on your own time. The course is adaptive and will adjust content based on the prior knowledge of the learner. Topics include respiratory management, shock, and pediatric cardiac arrest management.

In order to meet PALS Provider certificate requirements, learners are required to complete both the Heartcode online PALS and the hands-on skills session.

PALS Provider Training includes the Heartcode online PALS course and the individual skills appointment at a Code One Training Center location.

What does a PALS Provider Self-Guided Skills session look like?

During your hands-on CPR skills session you will independently perform skills on a CPR Verification Station learning center which provide real-time feedback to help you master compressions and ventilations for both adults and infants. Our team will remotely supervise and will be available to assist if needed, but you will have your session without ongoing assistance from an instructor.

Your PALS Skills Session includes 6 skills:

  • Adult compressions
  • Adult ventilations
  • Two-rescuer adult CPR
  • Infant compressions
  • Infant ventilations
  • Two-rescuer infant CPR

Can I complete my BLS, ACLS, and PALS training at the same skills session?

Yes. Code One’s Healthcare Provider Bundle Package allows you to complete the online portion of the HeartCode online BLS, ACLS, and PALS courses and then come in for a single skills appointment to cover skills for all three programs.
