WHAT IS BEACON PALS?

BEACON Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is an innovative new program for American Heart Association PALS Provider certification. Participants complete the Online Heartcode PALS course at home and then come to a Code One Training Center for an independent skills verification on the innovative RQI 1Stop® platform. The updated 2020 Heartcode PALS online course is adaptive to the learner's current level of knowledge. As such, the length of the online course is variable and can take 4 hours or longer for a beginner while an expert can complete in two hours or less.

Intended Audience

The American Heart Association PALS Provider course trains healthcare professionals and students in pediatric critical care settings to provide lifesaving interventions to victims of respiratory emergencies, shock, and cardiac arrest.

BLS Review for Children and Infants, Respiratory Emergencies, Shock, Review of ECG and Pharmacology, PALS Systematic Approach, and Cardiac Arrest Management

Certification

Successful completion of course requirements results in a two year American Heart Association PALS Provider eCard
