Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED

The American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid with CPR/AED course teaches participants to recognize sudden illnesses, treat serious injury, and how to perform the lifesaving skills of CPR for adults, children, and infants with the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

Heartsaver First Aid

The American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid course teaches participants to identify and provide immediate treatment for victims of sudden illness or life threatening injury. It is intended for individuals that want to be prepared for emergencies in the community or with a responsibility to respond to emergencies in the workplace.

Heartsaver CPR AED

The American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR/AED course teaches participants the lifesaving skills of CPR for adults, children, and infants; and how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to someone that is suffering from cardiac arrest in a comfortable instructor-led program.

Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED

The American Heart Association Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid with CPR/AED course teaches participants to recognize sudden illnesses, treat serious injury, and how to perform the lifesaving skills of CPR for adults, children, and infants with the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
This course meets the Pediatric First Aid and CPR AED requirements of the Connecticut Office of Early Childhood (OEC) for licensed childcare providers.

Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens

Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens meets Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements for bloodborne pathogens (BBP) training when paired with site-specific instruction.

Online Heartsaver Courses

American Heart Association Heartsaver courses are available with online instruction. Upon completion of the online module, participants meet with an instructor-led for a brief skill session at a Code One Training Center.

Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED

The American Heart Association Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid with CPR/AED course teaches participants to recognize sudden illnesses, treat serious injury, and how to perform the lifesaving skills of CPR for adults, children, and infants with the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
This course meets the Pediatric First Aid and CPR AED requirements of the Connecticut Office of Early Childhood (OEC) for licensed childcare providers.

Medication Administration

Medication Administration for Childcare Providers is a Connecticut Office of Early Childhood (OEC) compliant medication safety course. This program instructs participants in medication safety, dosage calculations, and the specific documentation requirements for licensed childcare providers in Connecticut. This course provides authorization of three years for oral, topical, and inhaled medications and one year for injectable emergency medications.

Epinephrine Refresher Course

The Epinephrine Refresher course is a Connecticut Office of Early Childhood (OEC) compliant safety course for injectable emergency medications. This course reviews medication safety, use of an epinephrine autoinjector, and the specific documentation requirements for licensed childcare providers in Connecticut. Participants must have completed the full Medication Administration course prior to participating in this program. This course provides authorization of one year for injectable emergency medications.
