BLS Instructors must have current BLS Provider certification. Heartsaver Instructors must have current Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED, Heartsaver CPR AED, or Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED certification.

I have a current American Heart Association certification in the discipline for which I am attending instructor training.

Training Center Affiliation*

All instructor candidates must obtain affiliation with an American Heart Association Training Center and upload a completed Instructor Candidate Application signed by the Training Center Coordinator accepting the candidate.

I have been approved by an American Heart Association Training Center for affiliation.

I am joining an existing Code One Training Site and have approval from the Training Site Coordinator.

Observation and Monitoring*
