What is the Epinephrine Refresher Course?
This course meets live via video conference in our online classroom. We will mail you a medication packet prior to your class so that you will be able to practice and demonstrate skills with your instructor from the comfort of your home. Successful completion results in a one-year authorization for injectable medication. This course meets the Connecticut Office of Early Childhood requirements for childcare providers working in family daycare homes and licensed daycare centers.
The course includes a medication training kit, live virtual training, and a certificate of completion.
Intended Audience
This course is intended for childcare providers working in family daycare homes and licensed daycare centers. Participants must have completed the full medication administration course in the past 3 years.
Course Topics
This course covers oral, topical, inhaled, and injectable medication administration for childcare providers.
Certification
Successful completion results in a one-year authorization for injectable medication.
