Many Professionals are required to complete safety training related to their job performance requirements. Some of these safety standards and requirements are developed at the company level, Others are established at the national level by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) was established in 1970 and is part of the United States Department of Labor. OSHA was created to ensure safe and healthful working conditions for workers by setting and enforcing standards and by providing training, outreach, education and assistance. (1)
