Does the EMT tuition cover the state testing? Or do I pay separately for that?

An EMT or EMR course in Connecticut, requires you pass both the NREMT Cognitive (written) and the Psychomotor practical/hands-on). Based on the Educational Institution you select, you need to read what is included in your EMT course fee as not all courses are billed the same way. Here at Code One, we allow you to have several options.

Course Deposit

Deposits: A $200 non-refundable deposit will hold a seat in this course. EMT course fees must be paid in full prior to the start date of class. Amounts paid above the $200 deposit will be refunded if the participant cancels with at least 24 hours notice.

Invoicing

Fire/EMS/PD Agencies: Code One can invoice your agency for personnel attending this class. Please enter “INVOICE” in the discount box below and include your agency’s billing information in the billing address section below. Enter any notes in the comments box (such as PO number).

Additional Materials

Additional Materials: The EMT course fee includes a copy of the Emergency Medical Technician student textbook. Additional study materials and pre-payment of NREMT testing may be purchased below. These items are not required for the course.

In addition to the course we also allow pre-payment for the cognitive and psychomotor testing.

  • Pre-Pay NREMT Practical Examination – $100.00
  • Pre-Pay NREMT Cognitive Examination – $100.00
  • EMT Complete Testing Package: Includes up to 6 attempts at NREMT written, up to 6 attempts at NREMT practical, and EMT Refresher course after 3 failed exam attempts. $600.00
