TLDR: eCards can be claimed via email, text or the AHA website.
AHA Cards are issued after completion of the course material and hands-on skills. For in person courses, this means the end of your scheduled class. For virtual courses, this means the completion of your online course and in-person skills session.
Your eCard can be claimed via the link provided via email, via text or online at heart.org/mycards
To access via email: Upon course completion, you will receive an email from eCards@heart.org with the subject “Claim your AHA eCard”. To claim simply click the link in the email. If that link does not work, the full URL is provided so you can copy and paste it into your browser. Note: You cannot reply to this email address. If you need additional assistance please contact our customer service team.
To access via text: After class text “eCard” to the number 51736. If the message is sent correctly per the guidance of your Instructor, you will receive instructions via text message on how to claim your eCard. Please note that your instructor needs to have registered your mobile phone number to your eCard for this function to work. Note: You cannot reply to this phone number. If you need additional assistance please contact our customer service team.
To access via AHA website: Visit heart.org/mycards. Fill in your name and the email address you used to sign up for the course. This will bring up all associated eCards.
