How to Renew ACLS Certification

Recertification for Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification can seem like a daunting process, especially if you’re concerned about renewing ACLS during the COVID-19 outbreak.  Fortunately updates to the certification process has simplified the ACLS Update process.

Code One offers ACLS training through a couple American Heart Association approved options: instructor-led class or a virtual course (live or distributive) with a individual skills appointment at our center.

The BEACON ACLS program has been our most popular format for renewal.  Participants complete a portion of their training online using the American Heart Association’s Heartcode ACLS course and then schedule an individual skills appointment at any Code One Training Center.  Appointments are offered daily between 8am and 8pm (some locations have more restrictive schedules) and take about an hour to complete skills.

ACLS Instructor-Led Training is another option.  Training is provided in a single-day format and can be completed entirely in-person or virtually with an individual skills appointment.  This option is best for those who want to learn in a traditional classroom environment. Space is limited as we only are accepting three participants per class to ensure proper social distance.
