CPR Training During Pandemic Webinar

Webinar Replay: CPR Training During The Pandemic

High quality CPR that is provided during a cardiac arrest event has been consistently correlated with higher rates of neurologically intact survival. Training in CPR has been greatly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Voluntary participation in courses is at historical lows. The number of courses available to the public has been reduced, and the seats that are in each class have been reduced to ensure proper distancing. There is a high demand for training that provides a safer COVID conscious approach to training without sacrificing quality.

BEACON by Code One addresses many of these concerns through the combination of online learning through the American Heart Association and an individual skills appointment with a virtually connected instructor using RQI1STOP technology to validate the proper performance of CPR skills.

In this one hour webinar, our panelists discussed validated CPR skills testing and how they make a difference in cardiac arrest outcomes, the learner’s experience utilizing adaptive online learning with an in-person skills component, and ways that BEACON solves many of the obstacles posed by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
