Online Heartsaver:

Online Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED

The American Heart Association Online Heartsaver First Aid with CPR/AED course teaches participants to recognize sudden illnesses, treat serious injury, and how to perform the lifesaving skills of CPR for adults, children, and infants with the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Participants complete part 1 online and then meet with a Code One instructor for a skill session.

Online Heartsaver First Aid

The American Heart Association Online Heartsaver First Aid course teaches participants to identify and provide immediate treatment for victims of sudden illness or life threatening injury. It is intended for individuals that want to be prepared for emergencies in the community or with a responsibility to respond to emergencies in the workplace. Participants complete part 1 online and then meet with a Code One instructor for a skill session.

Online Heartsaver CPR AED

The American Heart Association Online Heartsaver CPR/AED course teaches participants the lifesaving skills of CPR for adults, children, and infants; and how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to someone that is suffering from cardiac arrest in a comfortable instructor-led program. Participants complete part 1 online and then meet with a Code One instructor for a skill session.

Online Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED

The American Heart Association Online Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid with CPR/AED course teaches participants to recognize sudden illnesses, treat serious injury, and how to perform the lifesaving skills of CPR for adults, children, and infants with the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
Connecticut childcare providers must complete the instructor-led Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED course to meet OEC licensing requirements.

Online Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens

The American Heart Association Online Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens course meets Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements for bloodborne pathogens (BBP) training when paired with site-specific instruction.

Online Basic Life Support / CPR / AED (BLS):

Online Heartcode BLS

The American Heart Association Online Heartcode BLS Provider course trains professionals with clinical responsibilities to provide lifesaving interventions to victims of cardiac and respiratory arrest. Participants complete the Heartcode BLS course online prior to attending an instructor-led skill session at a Code One Training Center. This certification is required for most healthcare providers that work in patient care areas and for students enrolled in medical and nursing programs.

Online Rhythm Interpretation / ACLS Preparation:

Learn: Rapid STEMI ID

This self-directed, online course prepares healthcare professionals to evaluate and assess patients with potential symptoms of myocardial infarction, interpret ECGs for signs of STEMI (ST-elevation myocardial infarction) and activate a system of care for rapid reperfusion of an occluded coronary artery.

Learn: Rhythm Adult

For healthcare providers needing basic rhythm recognition skills, including those preparing for ACLS. This course teaches basic rhythm understanding, the relationship between the ECG strip and heart impulses, common arrhythmias, and to identify various adult arrhythmias.

Online Heartcode PALS

The American Heart Association’s Online Heartcode PALS allows participants to complete the bulk of the PALS training online and then attend a skill session at a Code One Training Center. Pediatric Advanced Life Support course is designed for healthcare providers who direct or participate in the resuscitation of a pediatric patient. This course results in the same certification card as the instructor-led PALS Provider course. It is recommended for participants renewing or updating their PALS certification.

Online Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS):

The American Heart Association’s Online Heartcode ACLS allows participants to complete the bulk of the ACLS course online and then attend a skill session at a Code One Training Center. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support course is designed for healthcare providers who direct or participate in the resuscitation of a patient.
