I asked and received support and assistance on my skill section Adult 2 person rescue after several attempts at being unable to pass. I found the manikin difficult to apply enough pressure on compressions to be sufficient despite pushing hard. I’ve been a Nurse since 1981 and never failed a hands on skill session in person in my career or with Code one for the past 2 renewals. The manikin is beyond stiff!! It might help to get a backboard to stabilize the back of the manikins spine as I had to literally compress that hard to make a enough “points to pass” with repeated exhaustion. I am beyond grateful for Dr.Sanita who was called in to help me hone down on my compressions. I let her know I was not leaving today until I passed. She was so kind ,supportive and very patient with me. She made me achieve my goal!

I was able to obtain exactly the training I needed VERY quickly. I wasn’t told what I would need for a volunteer, assistant coaching position until it was very late. By the time I was informed, I was going to be traveling for the weekend. Amazingly, I was able to find an office to complete the in-person portion of the training 6 hours away from home! I also had an issue with the class I signed up for; when I reached out at 8pm, I received a response and a fix within minutes and they even secured me the time slot I had available for the in-person training. I had felt desperate and overwhelmed, but Code One made everything work out for me very fast! Would absolutely recommend to anyone needing AHA training, fast!

I had a great experience with the in person cpr training! The computer instructions were easy to follow and the manikins were easy to use. When I had difficulty with the adult ventilation portion, I requested assistance and the woman who helped me was wonderful! She did not make me feel bad for having difficulty and encouraged me to try many different positions for me to accurately provide breaths. I enjoy self-guided training, which took less than 1 hour, much more than group classes that could take 3+ hours!

Great way to renew ACLS and CPR. The nice thing about it, is that it is self-paced and you get real time feedback through the mannequin and if you need help, someone will dial-in remotely and answer any questions. Definitely recommend this as a way to get your cards in the future!

At first you will hate it! But I have to say TRUST the process. Somehow they successfully mix the process of feeling supported and not being stared at. When the class is over, not only will you have your certification card, but you will feel more confident in your ability to save a life! The only way this would feel more real is if there was an actual living person on the table. By the end you will wish the class was longer so you can stay and continue to improve your skills. You'll completely forget that it's just to get your card.

Absolutely the best life support program I’ve attended. The in person skills assessment is all hands on, with great real time feedback on your performance, using sensors and graphic representation on the screen. I highly recommend. And I have been doing this as an ER doc since 2007.

This was a great training! It was probably the best CPR course I've taken. Really good online instruction and loved the skills lab because I feel like it was the most 'life-like' situation in that the mannequins felt most like I was doing CPR on a real person.
