How Long Can I Wait After I Do The Online AHA Training To Do The Skills Testing?

Here at Code One Training Solutions, we understand that your time is valuable. Sometimes life gets in the way and we aren’t able to finish everything as quickly as we would like to, and that is okay!

Once you open your online AHA Heartcode course, you will have 1 year to complete it. This gives plenty of time to get through the online course work and schedule your hands-on skills session. 

Since the Heartcode certificate is valid for up to a year, that is the most amount of time allowed to attend a hands-on skills session.

What We Recommend

The AHA recommends to schedule your hands-on skills session within a 90-day period. This is for the student’s benefit. We find students tend to do better in our skills session while the information is fresh on their minds.

If you are wondering if you can go back into your coursework to review and refresh yourself on the information, the answer is, “Yes!” In fact, we encourage it. If you get through the full course module, and you aren’t feeling confident, that is okay! You can access the material again and even after your skills session for the full year until it expires.
